This is an attempt to promote a play without throwing in too much information that turns into spoilers! Here goes nothing. One of the key elements in the board game, which is what most people know the name from, has to do with the different scenarios that could've all happened, and led to the demise of one of the characters. The way that these various scenarios are woven into the playscript is super engaging all the way through. It helps set the tone for the entire show. That's a hard thing to achieve with Clue because, at the end of the day, it's a production about a crime scene, but the premise is that it's a comedy. Sorry about that "spoiler," but then again, if you didn't know that, then maybe you are in for quite a few more surprises on Saturday 11th January 2025 in Omaha. All for the low price of just $83!
The new comedy show, Clue is a family-friendly experience. The premise of this current version of an all-time classic concept makes it interesting, even for the younger members of the family. Since the story re-winds itself over and over again, creating different potential stories, you won't lose the string of what's taking place on stage, even if your attention goes elsewhere at some point. It's also a play not a musical, so don't expect any of the characters to out of the blue burst into song. However, they may or may not do so just to spoof the traditional musical experience. It's a fun all-around experience that may leave you with some questions at the end of the night. Was the story that you would've picked the one that actually happened? You'll have to be at Orpheum Theatre to be in on the conversation.
Finding a good seat within Orpheum Theatre is key to enjoying the play. Try to look for a place in the middle of the theater and a few rows back. If you have an elevated position to experience the spectacle, that will work even better. Orpheum Theatre offers multiple decent seats where you can have a comfortable view of the stage.
