Roll up, roll up! Rocky Horror Picture Show 49th Anniversary Spectacular Tour is coming to downtown Omaha this spooky season. This October, you get the unique opportunity to join the O.G “Brad Majors” - BARRY BOSTWICK - for a special screening of the original unedited rendition of The Rocky Horror Picture Show movie, with a live shadow cast and audience participation! What’s more? There will be an exciting memorabilia display so you can get your Halloween freak on with artifacts and an actual costume taken straight from the movie! Part of the excitement of experiencing The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the theater is the props! While the theater encourages you to come in costume, you won’t be able to bring your own props. But don’t worry, there will be Prop Bags for sale before the show!
If you haven’t already heard, Barry Bostwick is a celebrated American actor who is best known for playing the role of Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Mayor Randall Winston in the popular sitcom Spin City. This entertainment heavyweight has had incredible success in musical theater, taking home a Tony Award for his role in The Robber Bridegroom. So, we expect nothing less from this in-demand show!
In this fan favorite movie - while sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) are stuck with a flat tire during a storm, they discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry) and a cross-dressing scientist. As their innocence slips away, Brad and Janet run into a houseful of wild characters, such as a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a harrowing butler (Richard O'Brien). Through epic dances and thundering rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unleashes his latest creation: a muscular man called "Rocky."
