Alexander Hamilton has gone down in history books as one of the most instrumental forces of the American revolution. He was a soldier but soon proved to be one of the greatest American patriots. His role in the American revolution led to American independence. He also became part of George Washington aide-de-camp due to his wit, vigor, and ability. But while working with officers behind the scenes, Hamilton longed for his own command. Eventually, he led three battalions to a battle that would finally mean the British’s departure.
