Clue – A New Comedy at Orpheum Theatre

This is an attempt to talk about a production without giving up too many clues that turn into spoilers! Here goes nothing. One of the key ideas of the board game, which is where most people know the name from, has to do with the different scenarios that could've all happened, which led to the death of one of the characters. The way that these various scenarios are woven into the playscript is super engaging all the way through. It helps create the tone for the entire show. That's a hard thing to achieve with Clue because, at the end of the day, it's a production about a murder scene, but the idea behind it is that it's a comedy. Apologies about that "spoiler," but then again, if you didn't know this, then maybe you are going to experience a few more surprises on Tuesday 7th January 2025 in Omaha. The new comedy show, Clue is a family-friendly show. The premise of this new version of an all-time classic story makes it interesting, even for the younger members of the family. Since the story re-winds itself over and over again, telling different scenarios, you won't lose sight of what's happening on stage, even if you put your attention elsewhere at some point. It's also a play not a musical, so don't count on any of the characters to randomly start singing. However, they may or may not do so just to poke fun at the traditional musical experience. It's a fun all-around show that may leave you with some doubts at the end of the night. Was the story that you would've believed the one that actually took place?
