Country music legend Jackson Browne is regarded as one of the best songwriters of contemporary music. His 40-decade career has produced and released 15 critically-acclaimed studio albums, – eight certified platinum or multi-platinum. He has also sold approximately 20 million albums worldwide.
In 1972, Browne dropped his self-titled debut album and spawned hit singles” Doctor, My Eyes” and “Rock Me on the Water.” The album entered the Billboard 200, while the singles were incredible contenders on the Billboard Hot 100. Throughout the ‘70s, Browne continued to belt out phenomenal hits like “Redneck Friend,” “Running on Empty,” “Stay,” and “Here Come Those Tears.” After an incredible decade, Browne welcomed the ‘80s with a bang. He released his sixth studio album, Hold Out, and topped the Billboard 200. The album, spawning hits like “Boulevard,” That Girl Could Sing,” and “Hold On Hold Out,” later earned double platinum in the U.S. after selling over two million copies.
