During the beloved holiday, Dia De Los Muertos, Diego and Frida’s eternal love for each other comes to life. Diego’s paintings of Frida bring them on a grand journey into their wonderful lives together. This exploration showcases a wonderful visual experience and a fantastic soundscape, representing the compelling passion and love that Frida and Diego have for each other.
For this outstanding show, Opera Omaha brings the incredible talent of director Lorena Maza. The storyline was written by Nilo Cruz, while the thrilling score was composed by Gabriela Lena Frank. Lastly, the wonderful symphony will be led by the esteemed conductor Ilyrich Rivas, who will provide an out-of-this-world aural experience.
