The Rat Pack Is Back For The Holidays at Orpheum Theatre

When Chris Jason (as Frank Sinatra), Drew Anthony (as Dean Martin), and Kyle Diamond (as Sammy Davis Jr.) take the stage, the same magic that filled the room when the original Rat Pack came off a day of shooting movie scenes and treated audiences at the Sands Hotel to a free-wheeling improvised show of music and comedy can be felt by all. Whether “Mr. Bojangles” tugs at your heartstrings, you slosh your martini glass about with “That’s Amore!” or you give the most sustained applause ever with “Chicago”, or you belt the lyrics to “My Way”, the fact remains: they don’t make them like this anymore, and we miss the original Rat Pack more than we realize.

Veteran entertainment giant and award-winning producer Dick Feeney has a long career of producing top-notch entertainment in Las Vegas – over 37,000 performances, to be exact. His brainchild, “The Rat Pack Is Back”, is the only Las Vegas-based show with national touring companies and is in its 23rd year of touring, with over 8,000 performances in over 40 states and four countries under the belt. The show has sold more than 3 million tickets in total.

Emmy-nominated musical director Lon Bronson is one of the most sought-after musicians in the United States, with some of the most popular celebrities under his wing, from David Cassidy to Faith Hill, from "Triumph, The Insult Comic Dog” to “The Rat Pack Is Back.” The famous Lon Ronson Band, under the masterful baton of Lon Ronson himself, is Vegas’ longest-running band, receiving accolades and praise all around. “The Rat Pack Is Back” performers (and a special Santa’s Helper guest) are backed by a 7-piece live swinging big band orchestra.

The Orpheum Theatre is one of Omaha’s oldest performing arts centres, with a spectacular interior design in the style of the French Renaissance. The venue can host up to 2,600 patrons, with seating spread over five floors: the orchestral floor, the grand tier, the balcony, the gallery, and the special boxes.
